An Anti-Mage talent bug on Blink was discovered in Dota 2
Users are actively discussing another incorrect effect of the Anti-Mage talents. This time we are talking about the Blink ability, which allows the character to teleport for short distances during the battle. The first user to notice this bug was thawhtet225 on Reddit.
A few days ago, after the release of patches 7.30 and 7.31, Anti-Mage in Dota had problems with the basic skills Counterspell and Blink Fragment. After purchasing Aghanim's Shard and Scepter items, the enhancing effect on basic skills did not work as intended.
The combination of Blink Fragment and Aghanim's Scepter, purchased after ramping up Blink, had an interesting result. The range of Blink Fragment became absolutely unlimited.
With the purchase of the Aghanim's Shard artifact, the magical damage of the rivals was supposed to decrease due to the strengthening of the Counterspell aura. In reality, it turned out that the effect of the bonus when buying Shard, when the talent was already mastered, simply did not appear.
As a result, after a heated discussion of these cases with Reddit users, the developer eliminated these controversial points.
A new bug of Anti-Mage in Dota 2 is related to the Blink teleportation ability. It turned out that when she interacted with a level 20 talent, the range did not increase by 250 as planned. When aiming the target beyond the maximum limits of the ability Blink, the bonus range simply does not work. Users, who are choosing Anti-Mage are forced to constantly monitor the distance and can not activate Blink at extreme distances from their character. Under these conditions, talent does not work at all.
The post of the user thawhtet225 gathered a lot of comments with various tips. Many users suggested reporting the error to the bug tracking section (a special Valve account on Github). As a result, several hundred applications were left there in the first day after the bug was detected.
